Store in Eltham was fined over £30,000 for selling illegal cigarettes

Dear Residents and Community Members, 

Just wanted to share some good news with you. 

The Rugelis Store in Well Hall Road, Eltham, SE9 has been fined for over £30,000 for selling counterfeit cigarettes. The cigarettes were illegal due to not being in plain packaging and not having the correct health warnings in English. This was a joint operation between the Royal Borough of Greenwich Trading Standards and the (police) Integrated Enforcement Team. This is a great result.
